A ONE-OF-A-KIND MASTERS

Every Monday morning at 7am in San Diego's Ventura Cove, a gathering of open water swimmers of all levels come together to join coaches Sidney and Steven for a unique US Masters Swimming workout.

Founded on their approach that the joys of swimming in the ocean should always be available to all, volunteers Sidney and Stephen have been running this event for free for a few years now. They would like to encourage swimmers to sign up as members to show their support and appreciation, and keep the gears turning so it can continue smoothly.
Your membership comes with many benefits, and your support goes towards:

Gas and travel expenses for volunteer coaches

Event and clinic volunteer appreciation (land crew, kayakers, support swimmers, etc)

Some treats for special event and holiday swims

Occasional equipment such as training tools and SUPs

Occasional materials needed for bay clean ups

JOINING REMOTELY?

Membership benefits are also available for those who cannot join us and wish to workout in a location of their choice. 

Workouts will be emailed and merchandise will be sent, and you will also be able to email over any questions or concerns that pop up.

I have nothing but great things to say about the Ventura Cove Masters workout! This is where I very first learnt to swim, and it has set me up for more challenging situations such as the open ocean and even a sprint aquathon event. Sidney and Steven take the time to make sure the workouts are specially tailored to the crowd there that day, and they offer individual advise on technique, endurance, and any mental challenges people may have with the open water.
